This is a bad thing/good thing thread.→[More:]Bad thing: My phone service (and therefore internet) is out again for the second time in two weeks.
Good thing: I got FOUR Christmas cards in the mail yesterday! Whoo-hoo!!
Bad thing: I need to make a doctor appointment for an annual physical and to get an oddity checked out, and it's triggering my phobia and making me all twitchy.
Good thing: New boyfriend to deliver hugs and cuddles to help with the twitchiness.
Good thing: I'm making 10-bean soup for supper. It's so pretty!
Bad thing: I had to go spend hours cleaning up the apartment after our tenants finally left - the ones who wouldn't pay the rent. And who play darts, apparently, so money must be spent to redo the walls, plus to pay their electric and water bills which they also didn't pay. That place and those people have been such a thorn in my side.
Good thing: 4 international bunny cards have arrived in the last two days - some of which were only posted 4 days ago.
Bad thing: I'm almost 2 weeks late delivering a piece of work, we've got a "team build" tomorrow so that's another day lost and I'm *really* tired after not getting enough sleep last night. Really, in a team of 6 who all know each other well, honestly and truthfully, what's the point of multiple "ice breakers" in team builds?
Good: I'm about to go on vacation. Also, I just found out I'm getting a promotion into a more interesting job with loads of development potential both at my current company and out in the big wide world, and a lot more pay (like 25% more, the biggest jump in salary I've ever had), and it's a fairly stable position in a time when things are a bit iffy and just everything.
