I would love to do one, and have thought so since seeing the set by interrobang and the initial call for more by cortex, but I am strapped for time. I think Iconomy and Taz's are fantastic as well, if anyone else has contributed I haven't seen them yet, but hope to when I get another free minute. If I get several free minutes I may put the comic in further jeopardy of not making deadline and do a polyorama instead (so tempting).
On the upside, I go into the studio this weekend and next to record and mix a proper EP! Woo.
Cool, shane...do it! safetyfork, what did you end up deciding on as the photograph for the cover of the other CD? Or was it this EP you were picking a photo for?
*tempts safetyfork with polyamourous polyoramas*
It's always the same 6 people who reply to these sorts of posts, ever notice?
Also, good to hear, cortex. I have a third polyorma that's 90% finished, but I've been framing stuff and getting ready for a show, so I haven't gotten anything done lately. And I have two more planned. All three will be objectively totally bitchin'.
And I'm going to apologize here for letting the ball completely drop on the bookmark swap. I'll revive it in a couple of weeks, I hope. And then I'll apologize again. Just been busy preparing for the little show, sorry.
Iconomy: the three you would expect (#2,3,4) from the last row of this set have all been used in promotional capacities (presskit, sticker design, potential web redesign mockups). Something from those three might also find its way on to the CD cover or booklet as well (I've got a whole "identity" revamp of the materials on the back burner).
May not be the same six, but I feel like there's six degrees to it somehow. I also note there's some moleskin thing going on on metafilter I totally missed. Work has ramped up such that I'm missing those things as well. I may still plead to get my hands on one of those books.
Interrobang, your lapses on the bookmark swap have helped me so no pressure from this end!
Projects... Projects... Projects... I'll cop to taking up basecamp just for personal projects these days. Aiiiieeeee!!!!
john, what's the "little show" ? and where is your central blog these days?
i've been totally out of the loop. life is screwy.
i've finally decided to do an art portfolio, though. been taking a design class, too, and thinking about doing a graphic arts (or even sequential art) degree.
I also note there's some moleskin thing going on on metafilter I totally missed.
Shane, it's just a coffeeshop thing, nothing fancy. And I haven't really been blogging, because the part of my brain that was associated with writing was inextricably tied to drinking, and I quit doing that.
