Ask Mecha: ICT Training Pack for Workshops? I posted a question about this on AskMe last week, but maybe it was too complex. I am looking for websites that sell curricula for training laypeople in basic ICT computer literacy in a workshop format. Any help? I'm just finding stuff for people who want to work in the computer industry.
Years ago I did this (mostyly for foreign govt and NGOs). Bright people who'd never used a keyboard or typewriter (aftre all, that's why they had secretaries, as far as they were concerned). First, you may need to train them to use a keyboard, the shift key, the mouse.

Try these:
edNa Online
training.com.au (scarce in resources, but maybe useful)
Centre for Training Materials
Australian Training Products Limited
Innovation and Business Skills Australia
AEShareNet

These may not be suitable for a workshop format, but there may be something there you can adapt. If you have more specific information about what you want to offer (what skillsets you want the participants to gain), let me know and I will see what I can find.
