I am NOT on my way to the L.A. Meetup at the fabulous Sportsman's Lodge. I feel as crappy about it as the crappiness I already feel that's keeping me away. Feel free to post how much fun you're having so I can feel even crappier.

I feel crappy too; I clearly have a stomach bug. So I'm not going to the LA meetup either, if that makes you feel any better.

The fact that it's 3000 miles away is also a small factor.

I have to work tomorrow, does that help? And I'm 3,000 miles from that, and whatever from JonMc and Pips, and no one has responded to the Princeton, New Jersey meetup on October 1st.

The Sportsman's Lodge is a pretty wild place, with some kind of adventure theme garden of streams and bridges. I guess everyone is chasing each other around the foot paths naked by now, or maybe that would be a little later.

Yep, the ol' SL has incredible way of making you feel like you're in the Great Outdoors without having to worry you'd get eaten by a bear or shot by Ted Nugent's crossbow (Okay, except for that one incident in '87). And since it's in the Valley, naked revelry usually doesn't start until 11:45, after Leno's monologue.
