Speaking of dreams... In last night's episode, my parents and one of my sisters and I were on a road trip from Savannah-ish area to Raleigh. Apparently the interstate terminated in a mall in Greenville, where we were to pick up the next interstate somehow on the other side.→[More:] We decided to have a bite while there. The band consisted of a guy that played a mini accordion thing that was an old kodak camera with bellows; another guy who was playing an accordion that was a modified old non-electric typewriter; and a guy wearing 2 sets of headphones, which were causing severe feedback somehow. Everyone was yelling at him to just use one pair and play already.

The mall in Greenville represents Hell. I have found that malls in Greenville pretty much don't only represent Hell, they actually ARE Hell, or portals thereby. Hell is full of feedback, and the interstate is also hellish, so, since it's the Day of the Beast, my learned opinion is that your dream was in fact a direct message from Satan and the message is, do not attempt to turn one kind of technology into another kind today or you may cause another rip in the space time continuum which would result in the loss of the Piedmont.

In other, unrelated, dream news, a couple of days ago I dreamt that a group of us (and by us, I mean people who in the dream were like my best friends, but who I don't know in waking life) were chasing pieisexactlythree all over some city. We were able to chase him because he had left cryptic graffiti relating to pi on all these buildings and bridges and sidewalks and we knew that we were closing in. We never actually caught him though.

I have a steamer trunk to which I have lost the key, filled with piles of papers. Last night I had a dream in which my father, who has been dead for twenty years now, had picked the lock and it was full of gold bars wrapped with paper bands reading Property of the Imperial Japanese Government.

Quel Cryptonomicomical, no ?
