99 Red Balloons Go By and By and By and By "VH1 Classic will present a full hour of the English and German music videos for the 1984 hit '99 Luftballons,' aka '99 Red Balloons,' by German rock group Nena."

"99 Red Balloons" may be more popular, but the two versions of the oft-covered Nena classic are quite different.

My brother and his friends won their high-school Battle of the Bands with a punk-rock version of this song. I was proud and impressed.
