and if you don't like it, you can go fuck yourself!
Wait... if I don't like the song, or if I don't like the fact that you're listening to it. 'Cause that makes a big difference in how I'm gonna spend the rest of the night.
You can decide for yourself. Now I am listening to "touch me" by Samanta Fox and you can think whatever you want about that one way or the other. Although I will defend it as a good pop song. Okay so I just like it because she was one of the first nekkid chicks I saw. So be it.
The second, in my case. And the Adkins song is likable at least in part because of it's gleeful turd-in-the-punchbowl tastlessness and vulgarity. If that sentiment dosen't warm your soul at least a little bit then you ain't rock and roll.
(and the line "she's got it goin' on like Donkey Kong," is pure genius)
Okay I gave up on "Songbird" at about one minute and fifteen seconds. So now I am seeing if I can listen to "Carrie" by Europe. I'm doubting it, I did not like this song when it was actually popular.
Myself, I'm now listening to "Dawn," by the Four Seasons. Franki Valli's an acquired taste, but his voice suits that greaser opera perfectly. And it's a song where the singer is begging the girl to dump him. and it's a great wanna-be-Spectorian production (albiet with far less personnell)
I like more hair metal.
Don't throw down that gauntlet, brothaman. Got any Keel in your collection? Tokyo Blade? Madame X? Girl? Krokus? Gran Prix? Export?
This one's dedicated to all the long-and-short-boats that completed the voyage to our new MetaHome: Home and Dry by that Baker Street/Steelers Wheel Stuck in the Middle guy.
"Com(?)" by the Japanese band Mono -- and that paren question mark is not me. It's 15:55 of instrumental, take a page from Mogwai, goodness. It's off of "One Step More And You Die" -- pleasant title.
