Another eth sighting →[More:]Has anyone been at MoFi this morning? There was a post up for a while by user "anonymous" who joined Feb. 2, and I'll be damned if it wasn't ethylene.

The post was about "spam haiku," and in the first long nonsense example (eerily similar to my post earlier today but longer) the word ethylene appeared.

I dunno though, just speculating.

Wait, forget it. I'm totally confused. The post to which I refer (found through a search) was actually posted Jan. 7, 2004, but the poster's (again, Anonymous) user page says the person joined Feb. 2, 2006.

So . . . weird. My bad, I guess. I'm still confused though.

Feel free to wipe this post away folks.

Old mofi threads never go away tr33hggr, so you could join today and add a comment to a thread from 2003, no problem. Recently updated posts are on the sidebar and some of them have been going for years now. That's what's confusing you, I bet.

I mentioned it on MoFi and I'll mention it again here: the best idea for tracking her down, as far as I can tell, is tracing her IP address. MoFi flushes IP logs daily so I don't have her most recent address. Maybe MeCha does?

There are a lot of people wondering where she is and if she's okay.
