Thanks everyone! It's making me inordinately happy. It's also become a point of fascination for a few pigeons, who have taken to staring at it intently from the powerlines outside my window. I'm hoping that the pane is just dirty enough that none of them decide to try out a new perch.

Speck, flickr has an email addy that you can forward camera phone pics to and it posts them straight to your home page. Spiffilicous...this is until it takes place one night in a moment of drunken glee and isn't discovered until the next time you log on and see just how "generously" your evening has been shared with flickr folks all over the world.

The humiliation index is sky high on that feature.

kenko, nothing much, no one's made any noises about wanting to come over, but the offer was one hundred percent serious and still stands. It will/would be super low-key, just a bunch of food and drink and lounging about.
