I just spent two hours sorting Pokemon cards. My nephew who is adorable and lives with me dropped his Pokemon cards. What was once chaos is now once again Japanese marketing bliss. I am going to bed. That's all.
Aw kids are still buying pokemon cards? I love the artwork on them. Playing pokemon taught my son math, when all else failed. He was getting Fs at school until he started playing it, then his grades shot up to a B.
He has a Charzard card and some other expensive one - Blastoise, maybe. Well they were worth something back in the day, now they're probably worth about 10 cents each.
Um how many cards does your nephew have, that it would take you 2 hours to sort them all?
Jeez I would have thought kids'd be on to Zenkaki Shironbuni Attack Grappler Collect Fancy Bread or something by now. I'm still bitter about CCGs wrecking the one good PnP RPG group I've ever been in back in high school.
I just made that up I hope it doesn't mean something awful in Japanese
My son finally sold his ginormous binder of Pokemon cards for like $15 or $20. So much for Pokemon as an investment strategy - and years of our lives were dedicated to Pokemon.
