5. Riding my bike down Conselyea Street from Leonard once the Christmas tree shop on Union gets set up. From up there you can see the lights at the bottom of the hill, plus the Williamsburg bridge above it all, so friendly and loving. And the weather is crisp and the dry leaves rattle around with perfection.
1. Music in general and XTC, the Buzzcocks, Cheap Trick, the Ramones, Boomtown Rats, and the Beatles in particular.
2. Good beer. Especially the British and Mexican kind.
3. Drawing and cartooning.
4. Pho.
5. New York City.

Is it coming or going? the weekend is coming, hello weekend, the work week is going, goodbye work week; and my sanity, did it take a walk? I don't know but the list of things hated has been updated and I tell you that bug is still not squashed and I'm just going home anyway.
1. Walking long distances through New York City. (previously I've walked from the North tip of Broadway 14 miles to Battery Park, another great walk was from Astoria to the Upper West Side)
2. Delicious mom'n'pop restaurants.
3. Transcedental food.
4. Cigarettes (I hate myself for loving you)
5. Hearing people having silly arguments (no man, I'm telling you! Russia is in Western Europe!)
6. The stereotypical polite, nice, helpful, know-it-all New Yorker.
7. Sharing a laugh with a stranger.
8. Happy lunatics. (like the guy who wanders through the city making bird calls with feathers in his hat)
9. Chinatown; New York's and San Francisco's.
