Break on through to the other side. AskMeChaFilter: Why don't my MeFi posts show up in the sidebar under "Recent MeFi posts by Metachat users"? I don't hang out with the bunnies too often, and my MeCha name is an acronym for my MeFi name, but I just wanted to know how it works.

Perhaps not all 14 of them, but I had noticed the screenname. I don't spend nearly as much time in the MeFi realms as I did two or three years, so I may have missed the other "nifty' usage. On the other hand, when I first started chat/IM/IRC/etc, I thought that 'tia' was just people affectionately calling each other 'aunt'.

Live and learn.

Oh, and we're really nice here. Kindly ignore those nasty vampire zombie rumors. Pure swill.

Well, I have indeed got a fun mouth-feel, if I may say so myself. Thanks for noticing. But it's 'nifty', per Witty in my ill-advised initiation thread (and later, phantom birthday party thread).

A screw it, "guh-nifty" does have a ring to it. Poh-TAY-toh, Dzoo-KEY-nee, let's call the whole thing off.
